Screw you guys. I just bought an amazing Honda Fit. It's way more sports car than your RX-8 could ever be.
Want to know why? The cloth seats are like butter. Yes, they're that much better. Also I have cup holders that can fit three big gulps at the same time.
Also, I can easily change rim styles because I can clip them on and off. Try doing that in a RX-8! ha ha ha ha
Finally, it's lowered. So I have better handling.

yeah, try to contain your jealousy. I don't want you getting tears or snot on my cloth seats.
BTW, I almost did 85 mph yesterday in it. Had to stop because the vibrations were so bad the speakers fell out the doors. But that's still faster than the RX-8.

Before I got my 8, I was looking at the Nissan Altima SE-R model. But it was only a 2006, so I decided to go with the 8. I also looked at the Nissan 350Z, and was seriously thinking of getting it. But the suicide doors on the 8 won me over the Z's power.
I'll tell you this. Yes, there are faster cars out there. The Grand Am GT I traded in for my 8 would smoke my RX-8 off the line. But the RX-8 clearly handles a lot better than any car I've ever driven. It corners, and brakes better than any car I've ever driven.
And I get about 20X more compliments on "how nice" this car is compared to the other 4 cars I had, which were: Pontiac Grand Am GT (very few compliments), Dodge Neon (very few), Ford Mustang (no compliments), Pontiac Grand Prix (none, just laughs!).
I hope this guy is happy with his Nissan. It may be an upgrade in passenger space, but so is a bus.

thanks for the input guys. I think I'm going to go commit suicided now. lol
1st I never said it was an upgrade, The Rx8 Was unique and I would always get kudos on it. We loved the car. But we all know and yes my fault the auto sucks. Now I have a 7 month baby and with the 8 it was hard to have the baby on the back seat. Also the stroller wouldnt fit on the trunk.
The 8 will be miss but Im getting better gas mileage, lower payment and more room to haul the family.

haha easy on the guy with the sentra. it was a necessary change. i would say that chicks def dig the rx8 way more, but hes already married with a kid. so good work, it could be worse with a mini van or something. just dont call it an upgrade or better than my car in any way... other than the trunk space.

Dova, you did what makes you and your family happy and that's all that matters. I'm not even going to offer my VERY diverging opinion because the only one that matters is yours. If you're happy, that's what counts. People ask me why I was such a jerk with the stealership about my interior color; because I'm looking at the insides much more than the outside. I could care less if others think I should have gotten a different color. Ti G was my first color choice anyway. I digress...
On a lighter note...now get the F off our club site... I kid...
