Installing S Techs

well tomorrow im getting my s techs installed, because the springs been sitting in my house for way to long, ill take before and after tomorrow. i ask the guy if hes going to proload them, and he said yes

i would do it myself but i kinda dont have air tools, i got a mazda guy from a dealer whos doing it on the side for 100 bucks, he says he can do anything to this car, so ill work out a deal with him to install a cluch to tomorrow, how much should he charge me to install one?

I have air but didn't need when I did mine except for on the spring compressor and that was just to save time really i could have easily done it with a 1/2" rachet.

I see, so a spring compressor is a must? Is this something you rent or buy?

honestly, it's a must for some cars, but the 8 really doesn't have all that much tension when taking the strut apart. I've done it without a spring compressor just fine. But its free to rent at your local autozone, so why not
