I was so stoked about the body I forgot to mention the kit, for all those wondering they have the info on their website, www.hpiracing.com, there are also 2 sizes available, 190mm and a slightly larger 200mm. Just another heads up, the bodies are shipped clear and you paint them from the inside out, the HPI bodies are pretty easy to do as they come with window masks and taillight/headlight decals etc. as well (some bodies don't..argh). I think the actual name of the kit is "RS4" or something like that and they are a lot of fun to put together...too bad nobody makes a 1/10th scale working rotary engine..sigh..=)

If you read this forum more often, you'd found out sooner...
You have no clue how many double threads there are on a forum and how much it slows down the server...

sorry about the double post there beemer, I'll just refrain from posting in the future to avoid future issues, maybe that wll help ease the load a bit on the server, although being an experienced IT professional, I can assure you that unless a server is an antiquated pos, a couple of errant posts won't hurt it much. adios good buddy, over and out

O.S. makes a model rotary engine (.30 size) but unfortunately it's made for airplanes...

The Renesis CAN handle 18.000 rpm. That's the limit till the excentric shaft will bend.
But it's limited to 9500 rpm...
Guess you don't want to drive a car that makes so much rpm. You shouldn't need the six speed at first (just two or three :D ) and mileage would be very very poor. Maybe 5 mpg or so...?
