HPIRacing RX8 Body for RC Cars
Hey all,
Check out the new MazdaSpeed Rx8 body from HPIRacing, looks like I may be building me a new R/C soon, my stadium truck is getting kinda' aged...heh. HPI website |
haha, wow, I love r/c cars, when I was a kid I spent probably $2000 fixing up my three R/C car. That body is a must! =) thanks for the info, I guess I'll be making a trip to my local r/c store!
|

|

Who care Beemer !!!!!!!
I just found out about it. Thanks for the info. |
I was so stoked about the body I forgot to mention the kit, for all those wondering they have the info on their website, www.hpiracing.com, there are also 2 sizes available, 190mm and a slightly larger 200mm. Just another heads up, the bodies are shipped clear and you paint them from the inside out, the HPI bodies are pretty easy to do as they come with window masks and taillight/headlight decals etc. as well (some bodies don't..argh). I think the actual name of the kit is "RS4" or something like that and they are a lot of fun to put together...too bad nobody makes a 1/10th scale working rotary engine..sigh..=)

sorry about the double post there beemer, I'll just refrain from posting in the future to avoid future issues, maybe that wll help ease the load a bit on the server, although being an experienced IT professional, I can assure you that unless a server is an antiquated pos, a couple of errant posts won't hurt it much. adios good buddy, over and out

SPECIFICATIONS
Stock Number: OSMG1400 Displacement: 0.303 cu in (5.0 cc) Practical rpm: 2,500-18,000 Output: 1.27 bhp(ps)/17,000 rpm Weight: 11.8 oz (335 g) Damn i wish the Renesis could handle 18,000 rpms...sick... |
dam that is so sick dude is that kit directly from HPI racing in japan because i wanted to know about how much it was going to cost me hehe. i hope not too much cause i spent so much money already on my rs4 r/c car but i love 8's so i obviously need to get this r/c version. thanks for the info!!
|
My .12 and .15 will handle 33k RPM for my Serpent Impulse Pro and RC10GT.
|
The Renesis CAN handle 18.000 rpm. That's the limit till the excentric shaft will bend.
But it's limited to 9500 rpm... Guess you don't want to drive a car that makes so much rpm. You shouldn't need the six speed at first (just two or three :D ) and mileage would be very very poor. Maybe 5 mpg or so...? |
