how the hell is the rx-8 keeping up in this video?
I'd have to agree. You can tell the 911 wasn't "using the whole track". They were completely missing apexes and not going full throttle out of the corners. Looks like a couple of guys fartin' around not wanting to put their $100,000 toys into a guardrail. You could also tell the guy with the RX8 knew what he was doing. I think he was a better driver and knew the track better than either of the guys in the Porsche or the Ferrari.

learn to use the entire track then.
when you hit the apex, its called tracking out.
also, for the love of god, put both hands on the steering wheel. 9 and 3.
i love how that porsche didnt use the entire track, and the rx8 was really really really pushing it to keep up to its leisurely pace. lol! 30k vs 100k! quite a diffence.

Yeah... the 8 was definitely pushing hard while the other two were jockin' around.
Still though... it'd be a fun video to show to all those "car enthusiasts" who don't really know anything about racing/tracks/cars in general, just to get a reaction.

Around the 2:30's you can see the Ferrari just dip, so you can tell he's holding up bigtime. they are just taking it easy, plus it looks like a "handling" oriented circuit, where the 8 excells.
