This morning a deer jutted out in front of me while i was going about 45mph, I had no time to slow down and hit it at least going 35mph. My fender took the brunt of it, but it rolled over my car and onto my roof. Waiting to hear back from the insurance as to whether or not it will be totaled.

 

sry to hear sam. ive hit a lot of deer over the years and it sux. hell in the past month ive had close calls with deer, turkeys, a bear and even a horse.

insurance will be coming out tomorrow to look at it. there is damage on so many body panels that i think they may end up totaling it

i really haven't decided, depending on how much they give me, i will either get an 8 or a 350z. leaning more towards an 8, but i wanna find one that isn't entirely stock, and there's like none in my area

damn man sorry to hear. Hopefully they can fix it and it wont be too much. If they decide to total it and you want to get another 8 just take off what ever parts you installed and transfer. Also take off your aero flares for the next 8 .

 

The insurance company will be looking at the car tomorrow sometime, I'm not sure when, I will post the results of their visits as soon as possible.

 

ouch, that fender looks like it moved in, and theres damage everywhere.

Coming home at 4-6am after doing all nighters ive seen deer 3 times this week on the highway i take to go home.

I don't know yet. but judging by the damage to the roof, and damage to the quarter panel above the rear suicide door, along with everything else, my guess is that they will total it.

 

well hopefully you say in the 8 family if they do. Dont go get a 350z.. Unless you want that STS turbo kit

 

They will total it Sam. The roof damage will cost too much and our cars aren't worth a fortune.

totaled ....They total everything now, it makes more sence for them to take your money, let you wreck give you some money back, take your car, sell it at auction and mitigate the loss from the sale of your wreck... i dont know if people have realized this yet, but insurance is a for profit deal.
