I've been reading this forum for a while now, always dreaming about owning an RX-8. Finally, the dream has come true and I can't express how happy I am.

So greetings to everybody here!!

Nice ride for sure. Are your windows tinted yet? I think the whites look awesome tinted.

 

nah, the windows aren't tinted. I haven't thought of it, but now that you mentionned it... maybe I should've got them tinted. Mmmm...

And those wheels came with the performance package. Mazda has a promotion right now that includes the performance package for free for 2006 and 2007 RX-8s.

The package includes the wheels, a Mazdaspeed CAI, the spoiler and the rotary crests at the front and back.

 

yeah the white 8's look alot better with tint. looks really nice, and i like the rims. althought i think white 8's should have some black rims.

 

To be perfectly honest, one of the reasons I took white was that I also think it goes well with black rims.

But before I add things to it, I need to fix the little problems I've discovered with my dealer first, like the headlight washers coming out but not spraying anything, and the side deflectors seems to be installed incorrectly (there are uneven gaps...).

Welcome to the club! I just my 2007 a few months ago too! I had been dreaming of it since 2003. It's a great feeling isn't it?!

Those wheels KICK ***. And I typically don't like white cars, but yours looks great. I'm not sure I've ever seen a white RX8?

Welcome to the club. Yes, you'll like your car tinted. That was one of the first things I did.

It'll keep your interior cooler too. Especially if you have a black interior.

 

Love the wheels, but you've just gotta get it tinted...

 

are your brakes white as well??? or just a glare in the pic?

 

where abouts in Canada are you? You are supposed to get the Mazda speed front bumper as welll.

I never really liked these wheels, but they have grown on me...PS: good choice on color Us Canadians have to represent the snow somehow!

Good f#$%ing lord, that would be almost 6k for a set of four. They really are good looking rims but man alive, not for 6k.
