Greetings from the Land of the White Cloud!
Hello,
I have been a dormant read of this forum for 2 years now so I thought I'd say hi.
Over this time I feel like I got to know many of the regulars of this forum. Naming a couple off the top of my head... MissyK, nightracer13, BunnyGirl, Inspire, Dominion, and many more have inspired me about how great the 8 is.
The day I have my own 8 has yet to come but it is great to have such an awesome forum to keep my hopes up. So thanks and the best for 2007 to you all and your 8's!!
Attached is a photo of the day an RX-8 drove passed me, I quickly grabbed my phone and as I took the shot I said to myself "I'm gonna get me one of those!".
A bit of touch-up work on my behalf. I thought I'd also take the opportunity to show off my beginner phtotoshop skills, which I also gained from this forum.
BTW, intersection in the photo is where the red carpet was rolled for the premier of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

I get excited when I see white cloud references. i love aotearoa.

The premier(s) were in Wellington. The building at the very top RH corner of the photo is the Embassy theatre that Peter Jackson had refurbished.
Here are some photos from Return of the King for your interest.

Hi Dash, another kiwi RX8 owner here. I wanted one ever since the concept came out and managed to get one in 05. With Jap imports we have some of the cheapest cars in the world so hold on to your dream! They are very well suited to the NZ roads and heaps of fun
