Haha fair enough.

And there are actually tons of videos on their website/forum of them driving the cars around, at that ride height, to misc. shows and events. I mean, there are people with cars even LOWER than this on coilovers with videos of them driving them on the interstate and what not. And they go through front lips on a fairly regular basis. Yoshi's (red) car has been through 3 lips since i've know him. They just buy knock off replica lips and keep 1 or 2 of them laying around for when the day comes that one needs to be replaced.

I personally love those wheels.....however, they just aren't my cup of tea.....if that makes any sense. As in, I think they look pretty baller on a Z, being as they a typically found more so in the VIP scene and whatnot.....but I prefer a "sportier" wheel myself.

They are either SSR Vienna Dish II's: http://www.ssr-wheels.com/wheels/dish_1819.asp

or
Work Euroline Design DH's: http://www.workwheelsusa.com/product...ry=25&wheel=63

If I remember correctly from talking to Yoshi, they are the Works though.

Woot!

umadbro!?!?!?!?!

By the way, i'm an English major, so I know perfectly well how to use correct wording and/or grammar. I write for Tuner Maneuver Magazine as their head feature coordinator, so please, lecture someone else who cares.

"Dope" and "hellaflush" are just terms closely associated with the stance scene, hence why I use them when speaking in regards to this topic.

I realize its sacrilegious to do something like this to an RX-8, being as it pretty much diminishes the entire point of owning a sharp handling sports car. But frankly, I don't care. It (will be) my car, and i'm free to do what I want with it.

Unlike you, I respect all styles of cars. While I would never be caught dead driving a Scion xB on air suspension or a lifted Toyota FJ cruiser, as I personally find both vehicles to be a disgrace to the automotive community, I still give respect where it is due. I'm not going to harp on someone for liking something different than me. If everyone liked the same style, then we would have a very boring, dry car scene. Wouldn't you agree?

Most people just don't "understand" this style car, and thus, choose to hate and saying negative things towards anyone who does. And that's fine. As I said in the FIRST post, I realize not everyone is going to like this, and I don't expect them to. If you think its stupid, then so be it. Your entitled to your opinion, and no one can take that from you. But is it really necessary to throw insults at someone just because, god forbid, they like something different than you? That was acceptable when you were 8 years old.

Hate away haters! <3

Unfortunately all you going to get here is "hate", most Rx8 owners follow only the "tried and true" path to modifying their car, god forbid you try something different.
I'm guilty of doing the cookie cutter Rx8, koni shocks, htech springs, progress sway bars, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, took the car to auto-x, road courses and more blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, had lightweight Enkeis RPF1s with kuhmo V700 and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

It was fun but I want something different with my car, right now the car is 2.5in from the floor and waiting for some wheels never before seen on an Rx8, I could care less if people like it as long as I like it.

Before people used to like my car, every now and then someone would pull up next to me and give me the thumbs up or ask what kind of car it was. Now people pull up next to me, look down and say "DAAMMMMNNNNN that **** is crazy", "I love your ride man", etc..... and I haven't even bought wheels yet.

I say slam YOUR car, put the widest wheels you can fit in there, and stretch the **** out of your tires. Forget what the haters say, don't be a cookie cutter.

That red Z with his wheels reminds me of some old school Mercedes cars, basically some kind of German (DUB) look wheels, it's nice to me, and different.

On topic : Why don't you consider getting the wheels in 19", than springs or coilovers, nice lip, sidesirts, decent spoiler and you got it

I would go with air-bag suspension so if you want it slammed it can be, but also you would be able to raise it back to normal height.
