I was going to get black with red/black interior, but I just couldn't take my eyes off the Yellow. I didn't want red cause I've had three red cars already - wanted a change. And I don't really like sparkly paint.
I think of course the Yellow looks great - but also like the Black with red/blk and the Titanium with red/blk

someone post their green rx-8, cuz everybody except the owners of course dont recommend,
konig- i suggest either a black or silver because the black with the red interior, is very very nice. i would look inot black a little bit more if i were you

My mind is pretty set on either a black, titanium, or silver. I really like the red/black interior and i dont want to have it done custom because i want the sunroof and other features from the touring package too, so I'm leaning towards colors that match with the interior. Thanks for your opinions!

This is a highly personal and completely subjective thing, but I think the car looks really good in Titanium- it has that gunmetal steel look to it that I like.
I saw my first green RX-8 being prepped for delivery at Mazda of Great Neck last week whilst having my MP3 serviced- it looked very elegant. I'm not sure I like the chapparal leather shade, though. Would prefer something "redder" in shade.
There was a yellow one on the showroom floor. 'Way to brassy for my tastes! The red is beautiful too, more like a Chinese lacquer shade.
Black looks mean, but it's just......black. The sunlight silver doesn't pop enough for me.
But the blue is my favorite, despite living with the bluest freaking car on the road these past three years!! It's a nice shade. Saw one today on the Northern State with the license plate "R UKIND 2" today.
BTW, I prefer the cloth interior- not because of color, but it is warmer in winter and cooler in summer, and that is a nice thing in our area.
As an aside, the Protege's mileage and range is very much appreciated in times like these.

Yeah, kind of disappointing.
I went by there and they all had layers of dirt. Would it kill them to bust out a hose and at least spray them with water?
They also had way too many with cloth seats.
I thought the green was actually pretty cool looking. Way way way darker than I thought it would be. It could definitely be mistaken for black or blue mica.
Of course without seeing it all shined up, who knows... coulda just been an effect of the dirt.
I'm surprised they sell anything with the cars all dirty like that... but maybe that could work its way into getting a good deal.

Black=Very nice/stealth/very hard to keep clean (I like black very tough; many of my cars have been black...)
Silver=Very nice/stealth/very easy to keep clean (Silver is good, like a lot, very cool; 996 was silver as well as the wife’s Cayenne S...)
Titanium=Very nice/stealth/easy to keep clean (Blends a lot of the silver and black properties, very sporty...)
Red=Very nice/way to high visibility, give me a ticket/easy to hard to keep clean (Red is bright and very sporty, like red my 1993 RX7 was red; did I mention that law enforcement will focus o you like an armed bandit...)

Get Sunlight Silver,
2 Reasons I got mine
1. Shows the body lines and contour of the car
2. Even though is a sports car, still looks elegant.

Well I just went through the oh god what color do I chose situation. I picked up my new baby yesterday and as you can see I got the red. I was a bit concerned about the red drawing too much attention but in the end this car just begs to be red IMO. I've received nothing but compliments on the color and the car (obviously). I seriously considered titanium and the silver. Both pretty sharp. Really I like all the colors. I never considered yellow, green or blue but I think they look sweet in their own right.

Ordered mine red because of the interior-exterior combination. I liked the blue too, but wanted a flashy interior (do you know how mucht they ask at Mercedes for a bi-color interior?!!!!). After some browsing through this forum I found out black is beautiful too, but only when well cleaned (check out cleaning and showing thread, the Zaino item, I saw a picture of a black one that almost looked like a mirror) in combination with a red/black interior. Like the white too, but very feminin and this car needs a rough edge.

Red - Looks great but its also a radar gun magnet
Ti - Looks good, but a bit drab at a distance though it shines up close
Blue - Too bright a blue, darker blue would be better like the Xmen car
Silver - Nice but light, the car doesn't look as hot in silver for some reason, I thought I would like it more than I do
Black - Nice when clean, but difficult to keep clean and it can hide some of the better lines of the car
Yellow - I'm just not big on yellow anything, but it doesn't look bad on the car.
Nordic Green - looks black at some angles, green at others, and multi-colored at other angles, dark but still shows the lines, could be difficult to keep clean, also fewer green ones on the road.
Fav's - Red, Green, and Ti
Next - Silver, Black
Final - Blue and Yellow
The car looks good in every color I have seen it in.
