chun if i go with auto exe kit im gonna buy a seibon hood the TS one i believe and the mazdaspeed carbon fiber replica spoiler...then wrap the interior with the 3m carbon fiber. it does look sexy when done right IMO

 

i almost bought the momos because they are cheap and good looking(not the black one), i was lucky enough to be able to put them on my car before buying them, the 19's and my whole car felt super sluggish when driving on them.

 

There's a guy selling his CF trunk, CF Mazdaspeed Rep Wing and OEM CF Hood. Obviously I was only interested in the hood but he was willing to sell all for $700 and I am betting he can be talked down.

I know CF treatments, even big can be done on cars well... just look at Double Goose's ride. I don't think I want to go that route with Kasumi

 

IMO really not a fan of the CF trunk but thats just me!

 

Yeah those Momo's are 25 lbs... There was bound to be a noticeable different. I still love how they look and want them. I'm just kind of over my Racing Harts.

 

Fair enough on the trunk Phrenetik... I didn't want that thing at all. The wing was intriguing for a split second but I have a pretty unique tail set up I think. I'll stick with that.

The CF is cool but if you plan on keeping your car for more than a couple of years it's a hassle because it will fade. Especially in Texas and Nevada. Mine did and I have covered parking at work and I garaged both car I had CF hoods on. I went through two VIS hoods, it's a hassle. Not to mention fitment issues and issues at high speeds.


Yeah and no matter what rims you have you eventually get tired of them. Hell I am tired of rims on other peoples cars, .

Yeah it's never been a priority for me but I can't do much more on the powa front so needed to change something just to get enthusiastic about it again .
Have the wheels already on the car and some replica MS side skirts to go on as well so might wait till it's all on before i do a shoot .

Yeah definitely, when I think of how much I could still do to my 8 my wallet hurts, I just want to finish the outside before I take the FI plunge. On my other turbo cars I always started with power first and then looks. I always said I would not got FI on the 8 but now that I plan on just keeping her until she dies, I am rethinking it.

 

I'm holding steady to the whole no FI.... I WON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!

 

Take mine for a drive and I promise you wont rest till you have a turbo strapped to it .... heh
