Thanks! It was a blast! We went last year in my boyfriend's WRX. It was fun but I wasn't as familiar with his car so it was a little nerve wracking. But I loved how the 8 just glided through the corners. It felt like I didn't have to try as hard with the 8 to make it corner quickly as I did with the WRX. But the WRX was much quicker exiting the corners though. I had a great time.

Haha...totally agree. Amazes me how people are stuck in the mindset of "rice" still. Funny thing is, most of them still win trophies. That teal RX-7 took home 1st place this time. At the last show it was reversed. Go figure. The two shows are also put on by the same people and judges.

Question: I'm purchased and install an VR MS bumper from the dealer and it looks a shade lighter then that of the paint on my 04 VR. Has any of you had this experience? Will the bumper blend and darken over time with more exposure to the sun?

Any thought would be much appreciated. Thx

Haha...I thought the exact same thing. It's common with all of them. You can see the color difference more so in the corners where it meets up with the qtr panels. I've never found out why exactly it is slightly lighter, I can only guess it has something to do with the fiberglass or such....maybe?

 

Interesting... did you have to get yours repainted? or blended to the fenders and hood?

Yup ,I have the real Autobahn and but fitment is not good there...the tooling was a little off...so after a while you get cracking in front of the clear corner area. That part is just simply too thin...need more FRP there. Sorry no pictures of those real closeups.
