The darker blue is definitely in my opinion more eye catching. Aurora is just a bit too light for me.

Ever gave the black ones a thought those r pretty cool too.

 

Yeah, the stupid black plastic moustache doesn't look quite as bad on the black '09s. I would also remove the plastic chrome fog lights on the R3 since they look so cheesey and the ruin the aggressive look of the bigger oil cooler openings.

I recon instead of chrome plates, maybe satin steel color would look better.

 

i believe for the 2008.5 mazda 3 they are not longer making aurora blue.

I'm not sure if the U.S. might be getting a different colour blue, but in Canada the blue R3 will be wearing Winning Blue Mica (27B).

I'm very close to ordering an R3, but I can't sort out what colour I'd want. I'd like to see a blue R3 "in the flesh" before I commit myself. So far, I have only seen a Sparkling Black Mica, which I must admit looked very impressive, especially with the wheel colour of the R3 wheels.

My daughter and her college gal-pals all say I should get the silver. My wife says if I'm getting a flashy car, I should get it in a flashy colour (like red or blue).

Decisions, decisions...

 

I am also struggling to decide between Sparkling Black Mica, Red, or the Blue...they are all very very nice.

 

i agree with the wife.. a car like this deserves a flashy color.. black was out of the question right away for me, its either red or blue and i think im stickin with red... and is canada really getting winning blue?!?!? thats my absolute favorite car color.. ill be really upset.. time to check out mazda.ca


UPDATE: just looked at mazda.ca, and the 2009 is still not up.. but the 2008's up in canada have winning blue?! the picture is extremely off though .. if canada gets winning blue r3's i'll cry.

The R3 is pretty sweet. If you are still taking votes, I vote blue. Red would only be nice if it was the Shinka reds.

 

Wait we are talking R3 right, i did'nt know the R3 came in silver i thought it was just red blue and Brilliant black.

Personally a white one would be hot, if applied with the new ms kit.
