KY Newbie

I'm kind of new to the Rx-8 scene, just purchased my Rx-8 a couple weeks ago.
I say "kind of" because my father owns a 2009 Rx8 R3. And my previous car was a 1987 Rx-7 FC3S.

I apologize that these are just stock photo's but I'm sure I will add stuff on as money builds up and I get more time during summer when I'm not in school.

Year: 2005 Miles: Just crossed the 40k mark

Unfortunately it's my daily driver (sucks to be a college kid) so its seeing the salty roads of winter. Under body will be pressure washed as soon as the weather warms up.

So... since this is a TiGrey thread I was wondering what color rims look good on it?
I was looking at gold XXR 522's but haven't really seen any TiGrey's with this set up.
Any opinions?

Gold really clashes with Ti Grey, stick with any shade of Silver, White or Black

I don't know about gold, but I think bronze can look good on a Ti Grey. It's one of those some people like it, some don't kind of colors though. I remember a pic somewhere of a Ti Grey with an Autobahn front, had some bronze rims with blue anodized lugs, looked pretty good to me

When i did my wheels, i though of going bronze. I like bronze on some cars and some colors, but it was too much work to refinish the wheel bronze, then not like it and have to do it again, so I didn't end up doing it. Bronze is too hard to photoshop and needs to be seen in person to really decide.

I think with the right wheel, gold could look ok, but it would have to be a clean and simple wheel with a different color lip to pull it off. The gold next the tigrey wouldn't look right to me.

Grey is also good but you need to be careful what shade. I found some wheels that are basically TiGrey and the match is awesome.

^^Yeah exactly. My Volks are almost a perfect match to Ti Gray. Everyone I talk to about them says it.

Awesome pic but the angle is just tooo much, would be alot better and less distracting if you took about 30 degrees out of the tilt.
