I am in South Florida and got the car for a little over 33 and some change out the door. It has the 1000 buck appearance package the sirius and the spoiler. I'll post more pics tomorrow.

 

color looks great and the pin strip is ok although it would look better with out it. it looks like your tail lights area already fogging up too.

Ok, got rid of the pin stripes! Washed and Waxed (with Turtle wax Ice...worked pretty well)...

OMG i love that color more than Winning Blue. If i could get some rebates on that and just get it stocked i would but i could probably get an 06 around the same price but GT so yeah.

 

Hot damn........... its better than winning blue, but IMO nothing beats WB at night.

Im going on Friday to look at a Blue RX-8 and its looks like almost the same color

 

Hi, just picked up my stormy blue last weekend, got lots of compliments on the color already. Here are some pics from this morning, weather kind of cloudy.

I only have the touring option with black cloth interior.

As I was searching the Mazda dealer inventory (2 weekends ago) there were only one stormy blue in the bay area, and one in Modesto. I had to go all the way out to Modesto to get mine. But I enjoy every minute of it.

Rotary accent package and fender strakes on order. Although the parts department call me and said the fender strakes were discontinued (can anyone confirmed that?) but will look for them from other dealers.

I'll take some more pics this weekend , interiors too.

That gas cap don't match. Maybe you wanted to to match the clear corner, but it doesn't flow.

Gold & chrome don't match.

Stormy Blue is the best 8 color, then red IMO..

Phantom Blue looks too sickly in full sun, OK with cloud cover or at night.

SB will change color depending on sun and cloud cover...black at night.

IMO Stormy Blue is one of the best colours for any car....it suits the RX-8 and MX-5..

I like the 8 in Velocity Red, BUT, I like the "True Red" that's on the JDM RX-8 and export MX-5 Roadster Coupe's...sorry your PRHT!

True Red is more like the old Sunrise Red Mazda used in the 70 and 80's...very similar to Ferrari Red....

I don't know why Mazda Distributors outside of Japan have not ordered True Red for the RX-8...they can request and receive almost any production combo's they want..

I had such a hard time deciding between Stormy Blue and Phantom blue! The cars in here all look really nice. My decision came down to wanting to be a bit more flashy after having only owned black cars up until now. Regardless, get more pics guys!

question, is the sand the only color leather you can get on the Stormy Blue? Love that color, if they had it when I bought mine, it is he color I would have gone with. Just don't like that sand leather.

 

no, sand just looks the best. you can get black too, i'm pretty sure.
