Here's a photo from my latest trip to the track. Placed 3rd out of 12 cars in the UMS Tuning Time Attack A-Class on that course and 5th out of 18 on the other course.

After 3 yrs my Stance GR's are running out of life. I enjoyed them for daily driving use, but I'm thinking it's time to change up.

How does Powertrix compare to the Stance GR's? They look very comparable and have similar features. Any comparison info on the two brands would be great

Last time I looked into it they're actually both made in the same factory by HD Systems in Korea.

The HD Systems factory brand looks to be HSD Coilovers. They're even the same color scheme as PowerTrix.

Not really sure on the differences between Stance and PowerTrix though.

im starting to think i may not have gotten the 10k.7k springs on my coils. been driving around on them for a while now with the damening set to 12 and it feels way too soft. had to raise the car up to keep from rubbing on every little bump and i was never that low to begin with. its almost 5 full inches of travel and its worse at low speeds. anyone elses feel too soft? i know if some of you guys with really agressive wheels had even half of the suspension travel mine has your cars wouldnt even be drivable.... taking them out tomorrow and thightening everything back up again for good measure to see what that will do..

i didnt get the stiffer ones, but im on the hardest dampening setting and i dont bounce that much, im like an inch and 7/8s off the ground and i rarely bottom out, unless im hauling butt

im gonna take a pic in an hour or so when I go grab dinner so you guys can see the problems im having.

I have to have done something worng but cant think of it for the life of me. as the car sits my tokico struts and tein s tech springs were signifigantly stiffer on the softest dampening setting

so like I said taking everything out tomorrow and gorilla tightening to make sure im not missing something.

ok I ment to specyfy that the issues im having are primarily in the rear. the front does feel a bit softer than it should tho. anyway here is where my ride hight is in the rear. I couldnt get a pic of it but ive gone over odd bumps in places and the actual rim itself tucks under the fender. and thats at like 5-10 mph. somone was driving next to me on the interstate when I hit a bump and said it went down alot.

as you can see that is alot of travel. what could I have done wrong before i start blaming the coilovers themselves?

everything was tightened up as normal but im still going to recheck tomorrow. and i just tested the dampening to see if it actually works and it does.

New SARX member with Powertrix coilovers. Although the top rears did not bolt up correctly. It will be addressed soon but it is something that should be looked into, I have instaled quite a few sets of coilovers on 8's and mounting the rears was never issue except for on Hoss-05's car which runs Stance GR's which are basically the same as these. Regardless his car sits nice even though the rear tops are not bolted up yet.

All the ones that haven't been able to bolt up are all Series 2... I'm thinking there's a minor difference between the two. Something for them to look into would be to include a different set of braces that are made to replace the stock ones.

Mine didn't line up properly either, I had to muscle the bitch in. Looking at the stance and powertrix side by side I saw no difference in design or workmanship.
