Currently, Powertrix is only offering coilovers but other suspension components are down the line such as toe arms, camber arms, etc. We'll soon have a number of cars built for show, track, and everything in between running Powertrix. For more info on Powertrix products for the RX8 platform, feel free to click the link in my signature or click here. For more info on the brand, the official website can be found at www.Powertrix.com. Lastly, you can always PM me directly with any questions

My car, through a few different stages:

Stock body w/Volk RE30's:

Stock body w/Custom BBS LM's

FEED/Fujita Eng. front + Ings sides w/Custom BBS LM's

A close friend of mine rocking every powertrix component imaginable for the Z32. Not an RX8, but this car is damn cool:

Desmond - Everyone likes posting their car, why not just give yet another reason?

This thread may live, this thread may die; I'm really curious as to the uses these coilovers are going

Looks like you *may* need more to clear that rear bumper connection area. Let me know how things go after you shave that portion clean

Just got done with the first track event with these on at Inde Motorsports Ranch here in AZ. They performed rock solid and I was pleased with them on the track. Wish I would have stepped up another notch on spring rates. More pics coming soon with the 19's on it, looks much lower with those on the car. Track wheels are 17x9" Enkei RPF1's and I had 265/40R17 Dunlop Direzza Star Specs on them. Alignment was -2.6 camber rear, -2.1 camber front, 0.1 toe in all corners.

moonkid - White wheels on a black car looks sick, can't wait to see a photoshoot. I'll definitetely snap some pictures for you at the next opportunity! You did a very clean integration there with the OEM bar as well. Nice work!

Arca - I'll see what I can do for those 11k/8k springs! Did the 200mm front & rear work well for your application?

Oh by the way - are there any specific suspension arms/rods anyone would like to see made for the RX8, such as heavy duty camber arm, toe arm, etc.?

I think a fairly priced high quality camber arm option might be a good alternative to others on the market but I just wanted to get others' feedback. In the future, I might even make a poll for this in the wheel, tire, and suspension forum but for now, any light feedback would be a nice start

Yeah the 200mm springs worked out great, didn't get any binding at all and this track had some heavy elevation changes that loaded and unloaded the suspension quite a bit.

Also for the other suspension parts, to be honest I don't see much to gain from running different control or adjustment arms, the 8 already has a LOT of adjustability for alignment and everything is fairly robust from the factory. Unless they were significantly lighter than stock I don't think they'd make a difference in how the car performed. Are there any advantages that I might be missing other than weight savings?

Sounds good! I need to get these out on the track myself...

From my experience, camber arms seem to be the next popular item that is not as widely sold, though it has less benefit. Increased accuracy can be seen as one of the benefits, as well as additional positive camber if one is too low for the OEM camber bolt. One can also gain additional negative camber from the bolt but again, these cases would be few and far between.

Arca, thanks for the input!

Yeah those can definitely be some of the benefits. I can already get to -3.0 camber in the front and like -3.5 in the back, which is already way more aggressive than I ever plan on going. For the super slammed/stanced out guys this could be a good buy though. Increased accuracy would be nice if you did your own alignments and stuff as well. I have a pretty awesome alignment hookup though, I paid 140 bucks and my buddy will do lifetime alignments for as long as I have the car and he can put it on the dot at any specs I want. Being a more track oriented owner I take pretty good advantage of that ha. So in my application, I might get them if I had money to blow, but for others applications I can see them being pretty beneficial.

On another note, I'll be doing autocross this Sunday which is much more violent than road course in terms of weight transfer, it'll be another good test for these. And they usually take pictures that we can have for free so I'll be posting again here soon.

Just a little shout out to the current GB pricing special going on, if anyone is interested in purchasing these. A little shameless plug never hurt anyone -> https://www.rx8club.com/group-buy-center-85/powertrix-coilover-special-group-buy-pricing-until-10-16-a-223960/

Arca - I haven't autocrossed in ages; last time I went out, I was in B-Stock! I think it's mandatory for an all 8 owners to at least try so if there are any of you out there reading this who have not yet hit the cone course, give it a whirl! Glad to hear you are putting these coils to the test

Here is the most recent shot of my car. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but meh. Any other Powertrix owners going to SevenStock 14?
