Yeah, I hear ya. Only done two with my 8 yet too, but I've not been in novice. Been trying to get the most seat time, but I can't wait for next season, HPDE time. =)
But congrats on it!

Finally got mine installed last night. I had some clunking when I went to take a test drive when I went over bumps. Turns out I didn't tighten the passenger side rear coilovers height adjustment tight enough. So it just came undone and that was what made the clunking noise. These are my first set of coilovers so it has been an experience, to say the least. Last night was a long night, I stayed up till 10 installing them by myself, then from 10 to 1230 trouble shooting the problem, but couldn't figure it out. So this morning I pulled the wheel off and unloaded the spring, and accidently touched the height adjustment lock and it moved. Anyways, all is good now. The ride is amazing, the car feels more "sturdy", my wife said. Only thing I'll have to get used to is it feels harder to turn the steering wheel.

Max drop on the front, about a half an inch I could drop it on the rear. And, omg. I already broke one rear mudflap, and I've been dragging the mess out of the fronts. I've gotta raise mine up some tomorrow, haha. As awesomesauce as it is, it's totally not a good ride height for autocross.
If you look closely, despite the bad angle, you can see how much negative camber's in there! It's ridiculous, haha.
Went to get aligned at Firestone, and they couldn't even get my car in the bay for it. Again, impractical, but SO awesome. Is it bad it gave me a feeling of satisfaction hearing that my car was too low for them to get it in?
Not keeping it that low still, except maybe for occasional photoshoots if I feel like being helladropped, but having them on max drop for a day, has made my day.
We'll see how they perform on tires that needed replacing before the season even began..
Btw, tire size is 245/40/18.

I'm working on new wheels, definitely wanting a set of white Advan TCII's. Just gotta save that $2,000 up, haha. Then get two sets of tires(Daily and track).
Did an autocross today as well, I'll have the video up by Monday. A definite improvement over stock, but I also removed the rear sway(And have the massive AP 32mm solid front sway), for my entire list of mods, rofl. But, honestly, it felt like a whole new car with these.
