I have the advanced keyless entry, and i love that little button. I dont carry keys anymore and I will never give it up. I got some chrome door handles but sadly they dont have the button. I can not find a pair that includes a button. I have an idea for how to fabricate some, but I have issues, I do not have access to re-chrome plate the pair once i finish them, I might be able to do it without needing to re-plate but its gonna be real tricky to get it right, I basically have to wing it by hand with my dremel and hope to pull it off not once, but twice. Basically if i can drill a hole and then put a rubber liner over it I can still have access to the button and have a buttony looking membrane covering it. But im pretty sure ill screw it up on shaping the hole, cause of course its not a circle, its a 3/8 by 3.5/16 ellipse. If anyone has any better idea, I'd love to hear it. In the meantime Im working on a custom panel for the ski-hole cover so my subs will fire through and glow through etc... ill post pics when i finish... point is, in the meantime, no need to bother with handles until i figure out a better way to pull it off... also dont want to end up over-cluttering the car. It gets very easy to put too much and make it look tacky.

I don't think chrome handles are good at all. IMO; digging the ride so far - keep it clean.

I like those chrome wheels. Sometimes my car looks like it has a bit of chrome or alabaster in the paint, especially after a wash/wax and the dark chrome factory wheels would look really good with it, I think. How much did it cost to chrome your factory rims, PBlue?

Blue/Green LED 194 bulbs, would be perfect for phantom blue interior LED project.

Hello all, I am from the RX7club. Just wanted to share my Phantom Blue car. It is a 1993 Mazda RX-7, ShineAutoProject Brunout Widebody kit, with custom rear sheetmetal fender flares. Wheels are CCW Classics 18X10.5 and 18X11 +32. It was hard choosing a color, and I wanted a nice stock color for my car, none of that fancy stuff, when I came here for ideas I fell in love with this color. Also went nicely since my car was originally Montego Blue. Anyways, here are some pics, hope you all enjoy.

I find one color i want to get an RX-8 in and it seems that Phantom Blue is the hardest color to come by. I wish i could find this color but if i cant i am probably going to have to settle for either winning or stormy blue or black

Are you willing to buy used, low-mileage? Where are you in California? I think I came across a few in California but since I'm in New Jersey I wasn't paying close attention. Found mine with Google's special auto search about 120 miles away from me. Good luck.

Eh, it is such a tease looking at these pictures cause it makes me want the car more and more. I have a winning blue mazda 3 but i think phantom blue just takes the cake.

Oh yeah robrecht, i was. I will have to check into that. Thanks.

13bHavoc -- Montego Blue FD's are so ******* hot. I always wanted one, which I think is what lead me to a Phantom Blue rx8. Your car looks great!

Kane, holding it down for us as always. :D

Unchromificating myself... here is what PB looks like with black ultraleggeras. No more chrome rims or chrome vents. Im considering darkening the corners, emblems, and possibly lightly tinting the heads n tails... or opening the tails and painting the flat silver parts in black.

They look awesome. You're making me regret selling them now

You should totally outgrip me now with those r-comps. Looking forward to seeing them in action.

13bhavoc, that's ******' awesom. I really love the beige/camel leather interior with the Phantom Blue. I'm installing leather on my Sport/Performance RX-8 and am wondering how this color seats will look in the 8's interior that has more black. Hmmm ... something to think about.

Hey everyone,

I'm 17 and I just got a 2007 phantom blue rx-8 for my first car. Pretty sweet. I've already taken one for a test drive, but mine doesn't come in for another six days. Is there anythin I should know about the upkeep of this beautiful machine that's different from any other car??
