Kicking while you're down?

Your car had a safe place to stay for the night.
I had the tools at my place for you to fix it.
I had a "spare" AEM kit to steal parts from that you needed.
Your car is now driveble.

I wasn't kicking you while you were down.

I was bustin' yer ***** now that you are back on your feet.

Since I'll never use it again, I donated an intake manifold to the cause.

They don't "cry", they just cannot tolerate any type of conflict. This forum isn't far behind, either.

Now if we can all get along and discuss things in a civilized manner we might make some headway in these issues that I and others are facing.

Can you tie the NOS to the VDI actuator???? As like a second safety.

VDI is a bit late.
I can tie it to the SSV. That would work.

I like that idea - no NOS below 4000 RPMS.

Wait - I thought it went VDI, then SSV then APV.....did I lose my mind?

couldn't you tie it to the spare vfad output and adjust the rpm that it kicked in via the ap ?

4-port is not wired for VFAD, even though the PCM still carries the byte.

Its - SSV, VFAD (if present), APV (if present) then VDI.
In that order.

Either way - the concept is sound IMO.

And if the BHR team has time we can program the Zex module to react accordingly to the input voltage presented to it.

Was doing a little rnd on a turbo and nitrous setup and was out street tuning my car (me driving, tuner next to me). Raised the boost steadily from 0.4bar and firing nitrous off on a deserted straight road (industrial estate and it was 3am) till my manifold just popped and neatly split in two.

Since then we have built stainless steel manifolds as well as polished aluminium ones. Ti versions are just not cost efficient and as such we shelved the idea of mass producing them. Happy to say that I've popped nitrous off on low boost settings (1bar) without any adverse effects (as yet) thus far and the rnd continues.

I'll be happy to post pictures soon of the finished product.

Cheers,
Swerve

I know bud, trust me I am on the phone with the factory everyday for progress reports. Just making sure that no corners are cut and that the piece is engineered precisely or the whole exercise would be pointless.

Took a couple of pics of the Fuji welded prototypes on my cell. Gonna try and send them to ur cell as I've lost the data cable so I cant upload them to my PC lol.

Note that the cast ones are based on stock Mazda manifolds but we've made some revisions

Edit: Pics have been sent to your cell Ray, lemme know if you've got them.

Not sure why the pics aint getting thru and it was the same thing the last time I tried sending you pics of my new paint job as well.

Anyways I'm gonna have to get off my **** and buy a new data cable and download these pics somehow.

Cant supply the cast ones as yet but we can easily weld a simillar one in polished aluminium.
