thanks for the compliments. Yep that was a no cones sticker. Unfortunately, they didn't work as I had cone carnage on 5 out of 6 runs. One run I killed 3 cones :D

Nice pics. Are you running the stock suspension set-up on the car? There doesn't appear to be too much body roll in the tight turns...

I also ran there yesterday with the Audi Car Club Chicago Chapter. Yesterday was really fun and the course was much better suited to the RX-8.

:D .Audi and BMW clubs are fun to run with because they have fewer cars than SCCA so you get more runs in and you don't have to start so early in the morning and wait all day to finish. They usually have fun runs at the end. Audi club also let's you run with passengers and still compete so you can take some of your fans along for a ride.
Next windy city event is at the Tire rack in South Bend. It's a two day event called the Tirerack Yokohama challenge. I probably won't attend.
Next month is my second DE as I'm taking the 8 to Gingerman with the BMW club.

I beat tons of the Audis there but did not trophy in the class that I was in which was all non-Audi's (31 cars in the class). I think in the non-audi class I was middle of the pack which isn't too bad since there were some heavily modified cars there.
