I have two Nordic Green RX-8's. One is very rusty and the other no so much. A couple small spots have started to bubble under the left side aero flare. My Brilliant Black 04 6spd is rust free, but it's been in storage for a couple of years.

 

Its been some time since I've posted about the car. I drive it about 2 miles per weekend (weather pending of course) to keep everything going. Engine runs well but is not good (poor compression) and is down on power. I have a plan for an engine and plan to work on the car over the winter. As of now I'm enjoying the fall and the temperatures its bringing. I drive my Brilliant Black 04 6spd often and am very excited to continue restoring this car. I took a couple of pictures of the car over the past weekend and wanted to share them here.

 

ng looks good, imo one of the best colors. along with bb and bcm. wb and i think stormy blue is nice as well. always liked wwp too

Thank you very much! Nordic Green was my first choice when these cars were new. It was very difficult to find so I settled with Brilliant Black. Velocity Red was my second choice, but the Brilliant Black was available with the options that I wanted at the time, so I went with that. Unfortunately I had to sell thay car to put a down payment on my house. But I bought another and I have two Nordic Green cars. I had a third, but it was a parts car. I personally like all of the colors that the RX-8 came in. Lightning Yellow looked nice but thats a another one that I never saw for sale at the dealership when I was looking. Winning Blue was always beautiful, as was Phantom Blue. If only I had tons of money and a huge facility to service and store the cars, I would have one or morein every color.

 

That's a gorgeous Aurora White Leather Sport!! How does the car run and drive? It looks very clean amd original and I'm a huge fan of it! I put some miles on my LS this year as well. My son and I will change the oil in it this weekend and weather pending, put a few more miles on it.

 

This is my other Nordic Green RX-8. Its nearly identical to the car in this thread. Its really rusty unfortunately and I'm using the car to teach my middle son how to diagnose and repair cars. Its been a great learning experience for him.
