That is cheap! Might have to pick some up... with the strong dollar and all!!

Edit: Dear god the shipping is ridiculously expensive to Canada... $83. Wow.

H Tech on european suspensions is worse, the rear sits lower and the front is almost as high as the original springs !

very disapointed, we preloaded them twice and did a good geometry but nothing does it : still too high in front.

at least comfort is still great.

I just put a set of S-Techs on my car and the front was way too low.
I ended up machining a 1/2" spacer for the top mounting hats.
Now its perfect.

in fact you guys are not used to our type of firm comfort, whereas us in Europe are the same to your soft setups.

"so crappy" is not the term in my point of wiew : go tell that to all the manufacturers of sports cars that do the suspension setups on the German Nurburgring, i don't think the result can be crappy .

for the springs, S Tech are ok for euro suspension but not the H Tech, i had found that strange and wanted to test,
i wonder why on one hand some springs are ok and not others, especially H Tech seem to be the only one "not good" for Euro specs ?!

I also owned a R3. I just recently bought a set of Autoexe Lowdown spring. I will post review and pictures , before and after. Just to give the R3 boys an idea for low down spring with our shocks.

Hey guys, couple questions for ya. How is the clearance on the Mazdaspeed springs on MS shocks? Exactly how much lower is it than the oem springs on a '10 sport? Lastly, if i get MS on MS, will the dealership be able to install them for me, and not nag about warranty since it is a Mazda part?

Check with the dealer because most of the time they sell the parts and will install them for you right there. Though, it don't think they have MS shocks/springs for 09+

I think on the 04-08s the MS combo lowers it quite a bit. the springs alone say .8 inches front/back but I swear I've seen people say 1.5 to 2 all around with both MS shocks and springs. (I could be totally wrong though)

Thanks for the reply, I will have to dig around a bit to see how S2 owners are doing with shocks and springs. Would you say a 1.5" to 2" drop is too low for daily driving (speed bumps, incline driveways, etc) ? I think so far its between the MS kit and Koni Yellows w/ Tein H-techs

i wouldn't say everyone. I forgot who mentioned it but i remember someone called to confirm that they stopped production - which doesn't neccessarily mean that there aren't any left any where - some retailers possibly have them in stock ....thhhhatttt or they need to update their website

edit: hrrmmm - their mainwebsite still has them up for sale but it looks liek it's been under construction for awhile...have you attempted to call hopupracing?

the drop's are the same - i would look at the spring rates. I know there's people on this forum who swear by tein but i've heard some good things about rsr too.

i say def give hop up a call n' see what's up. There site probably hasn't been updated - they're still selling the turbo xs exhaust at retail price for when it was new
