Nope. I don't have much of a problem with him. I just know that other people find him really annoying.

here is a partial list.

"piston rings are easier to change than apex seals" its conceptually the same job, but the piston engine has heads and timing bs and all the other nonsense. i've done both piston and rotary, and the rotary is WAY easier.

"the Rx8 uses special spark plugs" this is true, but a lot of other cars have fancy plugs too. the Mazda 3's use some iridium thing that is about the same money as the Rx8 plug

"the clutch uses brake fluid" the Rx8 has a hydraulic clutch, just like EVERY other car.

"the dipstick is next to the exhaust" it just isn't.

"built on the mx5 chassis" since the Rx8 came out in 2003 and the Mx5 came out in 2006 this is backwards. only Porsche can invent things after they've been invented.

"can't fit roll bars for track day" i'm not sure why you would want to, but the Rx8 is actually way easy, as there is no B pillar. open both doors, slide cage in, attach, done.

He makes fun of the perforated sun visors, which I think is a brilliant design and find really useful. Yet he misses the sun visor hinge problem. Also makes fun of the triangle motif. IMHO, Mazda did an incomplete job of that. We need more!

Does this guy have a site with similar hatchet jobs on other cars? Could be fun to send links to friends with those cars.

Not endorsing, but, yes, they actually have a full Youtube channel:

RegularCars - YouTube

They were also the guests on The Smoking Tire podcast a couple months ago:

Podcast EP. 101 w/ Hosts of "Regular Car Reviews"! | The Smoking Tire

Some of their stuff is funny (you have to be able to laugh at your self) but I do find their "don't let the facts stand in the way of a joke" a little disappointing.
