I can't tell you how many drop jaw stares I've had from both adults and kids. I have the appearance pkg, front mud guards, and strakes, and a few minor other mods. I've never received any negative attention. But imho, the appearance pkg really adds a lot, the base 8 is more like the pt cruiser, a weird styling either you love it or hate it, I don't really have an opinion about the base 8, but I love my 8. It's hot and sexy, imho.

I think the spoiler really serves to round out the shape of the car. Appearance Pkg. is a close second.

Well, I was considering test driving both before I bought my 8, but I could never get over the looks of stock, with some mods it can look a bit nicer, but IMO, they're ugly.

We don't get the Evo in Canada. I'm not too fond of AWD, especially if its my only car. The STi is 10k+ more than the 8.

maybe the most contriversial as far as performance and reliability...and gas and oil use...but i get nothing but compliments about my car. i also hear people talk about my car when they dont know i am the owner. "oh, thats an rx8! cool" is very common.

Where was the poll conducted? Papua New Guinea? A remote Amazon village? Or somewhere in a Mongolian desert? BULLSHIT MAN!

Wherever I go, heads turn. Comments like 'Nice car', 'Really stylish', 'Cool - How much is it?', and 'Looks better than a BMW' pops up regularly. When parked, Kids and people come to get a closer look like they were looking at a Porsche or Ferrari at a motor show or something.

So THE HELL with the poll. Probably a bunch of jealous and blind (no offense to the real blind) nerdies giving their worthless point of view

Not many details to give. White GS, no options, <50km on the clock. There is a white GS in Hamilton with appearance package and a bunch of kms, but I don't really want all the kms on it for delivery.

I have never heard anyone in person say that the 8 is ugly. Everytime I tell people I'm selling my 280 to get one, they're saying "Cool! That's a prety slick ride!" or "Those are badass!" Opinions are opinions, but when it comes to aesthetics, usually the majority rules. They must have taken the poll at a 350 or Evo forum. :p

frankly I think the RX-8 is a great looking ride, I get compliments all the time and have not even washed it in a month... , people like it, especially hot chics...

I must concur, and it might **** my wife off, but there's nothing I can do about it:

Hot chicks really do seem to dig the RX-8. I've never had the glares before while driving like I do now.

There is no freakin way that stupid *** chevy SSR is better looking than RX8. OK. RX8 may not be the BEST LOOKING car out there but it certainly does not belong on the ugliest list. The poll is biased
