Hm, I can't decide if I like that or not. It looks a hell of a lot better than the regular Asstek, but I think I might just be giving it credit for looking better than the Asstek, which isn't much of a feat.

The Ultimate's firewall has been moved and Reuss ripped out all underhood nonessentials in order to fit the same 7.0-liter aluminum pushrod V8 that powers the C5-R in the cradle. In this case, output was wrenched up to 665 hp with torque at 625 lb-ft. Torque pushes at or near its peak through an intoxicating if straight curve starting at about 4000 rpm through 6800. Air is funneled to the engine through dual tapered conical filters lending the engine bay the same comic, come-get-me invitation as those Dolce & Gabbana bras gave Madonna during her infamous Girlie Show Tour

Apparently the writers of "Blue Collar TV" got their hands on this top 10 list.... seriously though every day I park my car and start to walk away, I can't help but glance over my shoulder. I remember I was at the airport once dropping off my friend and had the suicide doors open, people were stopping to look at it every 30 seconds or so lol. I had one guy even ask me my car was a new Aston Martin lol.

The RX-8's style does evoke a love or hate reaction from many. More people seem to side with the "love", but there are many who do side with the "hate". The Lotus Elise is similar in that regard.
A vehicle that almost made the ugly list ironically was at the top of the list of vehicles most bought for their looks: the Chevy SSR, a combination pickup-roadster-convertible. There’s a fine line between love and hate.

im pretty sure this poll was taking somewhere near the south where they reenact the civil war for fun.
the crossfire? the pt cruiser? thunderbird??? (didnt they stop making this car cause no one bought it?) you got to be joking me... someone write a stern letter back to the author of this god forbidden article!

The 8 is an ugly car. That is why every time I go thru a drive-through with a guy attendant they always say "man, I bet you get all kinds of P----y with that car." I just laugh and say yep. It would work but I need darker tinted windows. Need to get them closer so I can grab them before they see the old fart driving it

This "Based on J.D. Power polling, the following are the top 10 vehicles purchased strictly for appearance sake or, according to Denove, because their buyers said, “I like the way that looks and don’t care about anything else.” " does not mean best looking.
Now the list with the RX8 it does say ugly ... but **** the Xb isn't ugly either

1. Honda Element (I like it)
2. Infiniti Q45 (I like it)
3. Pontiac Aztek (Ugly this one is right on)
4. Mazda RX-8 (gorgeous car one of the best ever)

^Hows the celica factory riced? Or are you talking about the latest 'Action Package' that you can get with it? I admit that the new action package is rice...chrome plastic tail pipe tip...chrome alteeza tails...etc etc. But stock...and first gen action package were ok...

I seriously think the demographic was very skewed!
Heck I've had my 8 called an Aston Martin as well. I drive past an elementary school everyday and you can see the expression on the kids' faces saying "whoa ... I want that car when I grow up."
