This "poll" looks like it was targeted at an older audience. I don't thing younger people would agree with these results.

 

The wing and the hood scoop are a bit too much. It's all opinion. Even though the SRT-4 has some power to back up it's look I find the wing on that one to be even more ridiculous. Now that I think about it why isn't the Neon on the ugly list?

I've yet to experience anyone tell me in person that my car sucks. On the Internet, the 8 gets a lot of detractors, but when I'm driving around or park somewhere, people stop me to say that they like it. So, I dunno. All I can say is that anyone who thinks the Crossfire is one of the 10 best looking cars is completely out of his gourd.

i've bought my 8 on 8th February believe it or not,many people stares at my 8 since i bought it until now therefore i know the reason why i think the person who wrote the poll doesn't know hows RX8 is well design and probably the worst thing is, may be he doesn't even know hows RX8 look

 

Repeat after me "It does not say best looking" it says "I bought my car for the way it looks".

Did any of you buy the RX8 just because it looks nice? If not then it doesn't make the pretty list.

I have a G35 sedan. If JD Power calls me up and asks me the above question I can't say that I think an RX8 is the most beautiful car on the road. I can only answer about my own car. Did I buy it solely for the way it looks. Nope it's actually kind of ugly but it's powerful, handles nice, has 4 doors and a fairly big trunk.

 

Funny....slow driving in heavy traffic up the Pacific Coast Highway through Malibu on a Sunday....Kids and Dad were hanging out the windows of their Magnum looking at my 8. Guy in an M3 stopped and stared and gave me a thumbs up. Guy in 911 turbo honking and waving. Girl in a mini cooper doing a double take. all within a 5 minute window. I love and I mean love the way the 8 looks. My property manager thought it was a 60k car. My 8 will definitely be one of the best looking cars i've had possession of. Period.

 

Who the heck is wards auto anyway ...

nah not really. i KNOW some people don't like the way the 8 looks. but the ugliest list is just totally absurd. like i said before, let's not even look at the 8. let's look at the lexus ls430 and the infiniti q45.

completely bland, safe cars when it comes to looks. i mean honestly look at them (lexus and infiniti). Please don't tell me that you think those cars are going to be on the top 10 ugly list. The diamante is another bland car.

 

It just goes to show you that only a small % of the population actually has good taste & class... (Hahahahaha.) Well, numbers alone- in my opinion- don't mean jack. Just because MOST of the people think something is good or a certain way, DOESN'T mean it is automatically true or is.

 

mine has an appearance package and looks better than a regular RX-8 so I'm off the ten ugliest list

 

I can see people disliking lots of the cars on that list, but they're by no means the UGLIEST. I'm curious as to how the El Feo (Aveo) avoided that list if it's truly the definitive list of ugly cars.

 

Those lists really don't mean much... other than listing the most boldly styled, love/hate cars.

Compared to a Camry for example, the RX-8 is of course going to get more "it's ugly!" votes.

Compared to a Camry, the RX-8 is also going to get more "it's beautiful!" votes.

 

I was sitting in my car the other day cleaning the dash and my neighbor is driving by and stops the car, holding up 3 others behind her and asks, "Is that your car? It's beautiful!" Gotta love it. The list is BS. I have not talked to one person that dislikes my car. Even my neighbors that drive ugly vehicles or have no knowledge of anything other than.... well nothing... even like it. Whether it be my cousin with an S2000 or friend with a Porsche, they all love the car. It appeals to everyone and I love driving around in it.

 

Okay, not everyone loves the way the car looks, obviously. You're welcome to your fantasy, though it's only that.

 

I've only heard of people not liking the looks of the 8 on here(The Forums). I've never heard anyone say the RX8 is ugly in person, not even over hearing conversations in restaurants! I've only heard compliments about it in person. I guess its just some of the hatters on here that don't own an RX8 that say its not that good looking of an car.

I guess, though, I am negotiating the purchase of an 8 right now. Hmmm, there goes that shitty theory.

As well, how many people would walk up to you and say "your car is ugly". Probably zero to none.

 

I never said anything about you. That's why I said "SOME" people. Thought I was taking a shot a you? LOL. Why would you be negotiating on a purchase of a 8? Its doesn't have enough power for you remember? And no, I don't expect people to come up to me and tell me, my car is ugly. But when I'm at a restaurant and I over hear people talking about the 8, I've never heard anyone say a bad thing about its looks. NONE! Can you understand what I'm saying or do I need to break it down further?
