*sigh* That JDM model has never had more horsepower than the USDM model. Hell it doesn't even have two oil coolers stock! Run a search. I've posted on this extensively in the past. JDM owners were complaining that the car didn't feel like 250ps (not hp). JDM RX-8's are dynoing at the same numbers USDM ones are by GReddy, Blitz, RE-Amemiya, FEED, RMagic, RX-8 Magazine, Option Magazine and others. 250ps = 247hp... what the RX-8 was originally rated as for the US.

i own a JDM 250ps type S, and really guys I dont see any difference than the US versions i drive in CA. infact it does not even feel like 247 hp but who cares, i have my 350z and evo ix for the hp, this car is for fun and nothing beats the fun factor this car comes with in such a low price. I wonder when will the JDM models will get the 6 Speed Automatic Type E.
