Did anyone ask you?? I thought the Evo / STi deal was settled long time ago. We are lucky there is a car suitable for every one of us, our driving styles and needs. Actually....let's turn things around: how much faster did you say an Evo / STi laps around Tsukuba?

....a Type R? does that thing have weight reduction blah blah blah? I think I had this very same discussion over at ClubRSX.com a while back...deja vu.

just like rotary god said. 30 grand will buy you a super *** flyin fast 94' mustang 5.0 with a F.I. and nitrous. Prolly pushin at LEAST 700 h.p. to the ground. Yet I would still buy the 8 any day over that. who the hell cares about if you straight line me?? Hell there are people asking about trailer hitches in the forum. TRAILER HITCHES!!! for gods sake!! who would do that to a sports car, let alone a NO torque car like the 8. Obvioulsy those people are buying based on appeal of the car not wether the 0-60 times are better. My 2000 ninja 900 beats every car on the road(that I have raced). can your Z close in on 200mph?? whats that????..........oh no it cant. thats what I thought. and im doin it for a quarter of the price of what my 8 cost.

**** I mean my buddy had a 6 speed z for nearly 10 months then to poor sap rolled it and took out a telly pole. Now when he drives mine all I hear is, is "man I love this thing I didnt think I would like it as much as the Z. would you be mad If I bought one?" that all I hear. Yet it isnt as quick. Back to what I said before So? I dont care. and too, I would much rather ride in a nice sports car than in an aluminum cracker box stuffed full of left over plastic. I mean really look at the fit and finish of the 8 over the z, and did I mention we can functionaly USE our cars?? we have rear seats! and trunk space that the best damn part about the car. I bought it thinking oh well Ill just deal with the extra stupid damn doors. Now I use them ALL the time. Two 6'2" guys In the front and two 5'8" or so girls In the back rides GREAT. so even though Z may get a few numbers, the 8 actually is able to pick up the ladies. I think im goin wiht the 8. fur sho fur sho.
