No word just yet on pricing. But, it will not be cheap I would say a couple of grand at least.

...why auto?

... I remembered in a while ago RotaryGod explains why the 4-port renesis might be better for the 6-port. I know for those who owns a manual, we run a six port renesis. Any inputs Canzoomer? RotaryGod? any gurus?

I posted this link in aftermarket parts area.

And I explained to the peops who PMED me that the 4 port would possibly be a better canidate that the 6. But, that is a very good observation, and right on the money.

Japan 8.. I read some of that artical..very good news. Being here state side it is hard to get good mags like that.. I hate buying them from Kinokuniya because they are so expensive here.

But, I agree with the super charger. I think that is the best form of F/I for the 8. IMHO. Plus, no lag in waiting for it to spool up.

When I talked to RE-AMEMIYA's shop they expressed that they were haveing a hard time keeping the power stable due to the various ECU's in Japan. So, the one they had was running about as stable as they could get now. So they couldn't market the Greddy Kits at this time.

Personlay I am more intrested in their N/A tuning..I would mind haveing 300 N/A WHP. I watched the Spirits RX8 take out some very stiff competion with just 233 N/A whp..

But, when I order my parts from RE-AMEMIYA..I will find out more info..

Wow... with just 233hp. I'd love to see 300hp N/A.

Keep us all posted on the RE Amemiya parts. I'll be honest and say that I am fairly anti-JDM parts IF an equally performing part can be bought locally. Simply JDM stuff is overpriced (for various reasons). BUT... I'm curious as to what Amemiya can come up with.

Wow, same thing again?

Is says right on the webpage its not out yet.

I asked them a while back about the kit and they are hoping on June. Like mentioned they are not too happy with the tunning on the ECUs it takes time to get it right since we are talking RE-ROMMED Original ECUs.

The target price of this kit and the Blitz Compressor kit are $4000-$4500 as I mentioned before.

The 50,400 yen as mentioned far above also known as the $450 (yeah I wish we are at 106) is the removal of the speed limiter and a coupld small changes to the ECU ONLY!

I wonder how much "work" he is really doing on this, as it is a joint project with GReddy, and it has been said that they essentially did all the development work. Well either way, at least auto owners have something to cheer about... if they wish to void their warranty...

Yeah, I read that about the speed limiter. Plus the ECU changes. But, they seem crucial to perform.

But I have more faith in RE-Amemiya working on this then some other tuners. I can't wait to hear about the fineshed product.

Actually RE Amemiya isn't doing much work on the Auto Turbo project... according to a Rotary tuner mag. The majority of the work...the essential work is being done by Greddy/Trust.

AT TURBO KIT 498,000

Would come to around $4,500 right? Just clearing out the confusion on the price.

.. Something will be out pretty soon. Some friends decided to fly there and speak to Mr. Amemiya himself. And they are pretty close to a finish product (2 week to 3 week time frame), something like a version 2 of some sort. I was also told that I have to send my ECU to Japan for reprogramming. And that means about a week in the shop. You folks in the states could probably start calling the reps about then if you are still interested.

Oh yes.. the ECU programming includes the removal of any speed limiters / fuel cuts and apparently starts the fans alot soon... this will help with engine cooling.

I just hope he has time to do the work.. Apparently my friends said there's a ton of RX7s on the lot just waiting for him to tune it (This guy is like some rotary god) . I am keeping my fingers cross.
