The Kenstyle Shinka... well I don't think the kit was by Mazda. Probably Kenstyle designed it. Their parts and AutoExe are sold at Mazda dealers in Japan. Personally I think they should have gone with AutoExe... their 1st kit is sharp on the car.

No Love for Yellows
Too bad Mazda stopped making Lightning Yellows. That just means us Yellow owners are gonna get the shaft. Heck, I can't even get the current MS kit in yellow any more. I don't know if I should cry or be mad.

Stuck in a love triangle
Let's face it people. At this rate, "Mazdaspeed RX-8" will always = bodykit and suspension modifications.
I don't think we're ever going to see a true "Mazdaspeed" RX-8 at this rate. The RX-8 is coming up on its third year and they still haven't revealed a single ounce of horsepower increase to the engine.
Let's just call it the "Mazdakit RX-8" from now on to avoid confusion.

Who the hell said anything about writing off my car?
A fender bender is not something anyone looks forward to or plans for (duh).
Getting a new front-end to change the look of your car is a planned expense and entirely optional.
If I opted for a new front, I would prefer a high quality part. Like Mazdaspeed. Since it's made in metton (or whatever it is) fits the car and comes PRE-PAINTED.
I can still by the MS part, sure...by I also have the added expense of painting it to match my car. An expense other color owner don't have to deal with. I'd rather not pay this extra expense if i didn't have to. Maybe your circumstance is different, but I'm not made of money. I'd like to keep what little I earn. So get off your high horse.

Metton is really the company name like kleenex or xerox but i like using the name instrread of "liquid molded resin" or whatever. any way good stuff much better than anything used in the aftermarket http://www.metton.com/

I have had a few people tell me that the 8 reminds them of the vette without this new MS8 being on the market. I think mostly its because of the overall shape of the body, from a sideview of course as well as the front. This new MS8 brings them even closer from what I've been reading here. All is well though.
