agree Paul.
The Miata is a great track car. I see bunches of them. In races. You hardly see them in HPDE anymore--at least in my areas. I wonder why? Mazda --wake upppppppp!!
The MX5 can be built into a great little sports car. Unfortunately, now a days a lot of people want them already built.
Now for a comfortable convertible rear wheel drive sports car--its perfect to cruise around town and roads when its cool enough to let the top down.

FYI, the Miata is, by far, the most popular track car in the world, and deservedly so. That won't be changing anytime soon.
Spot on M8

Like ALL great cars, one has to own/use the MX-5 for some time to REALLY appreciate it...with a Rotary sheer BLISS!! ;(

Paul.
Amen!

Spoken by a TRUE MAZDA MAN!!

*flame suit on* - its a girls car really. its small and its a convertible. nuff said.
5'11 and can fit just fine in all the miatas... I don't need a living room with a 50" in tv for a car though.
This car fits 4, and is just a tad longer than a smart:

It's a case of the american market being spoiled, a spider inspired by the british convertibles of the 60\70s has to be small! if one wants a big convertible is free to buy a mercedes sl.

Amen. Nobody has a problem fitting in a miata here. Unfortunately is not a popular track choice in europe so the last sentence is only valid for the states
