Looks like at least one of the folks at Valve is in love with rotaries too!

looks more like a custom spray- odd that it overlaps the grafitti.
What level is it on? I'd love to verify.

Sorry I didn't take more pictures of the location where it's at.

It's on one of the water craft levels towards the end of that stage - after the alien dude gives you the gun. You reach some sort of factory place with tall concrete walls around you. There's a fork where on the right a combine soldier starts shooting at you and there's a bunch of junk he's hiding in. There's a windmill up on the ledge. If you go over to the right of the fork you'll be attacked by a bunch of headhumpers. There's a makeshift shelter and you'll hear some wind chimes. Climb up the ladder to the shelter and it will be there on the wall. It was a pleasant surprise when I found it.

That is the logo for Lambda Research or whatever, the company that the main character worked for.

Is this one of the rebel bases that got wiped out? The one with the crane full of supply crates?

No, it's 1 or 2 levels before you shoot down the helicopter with the water craft. It's some sort of abandoned factory or something. You see a conveyer belt structure up in the sky.

Sorry for the dark snapshot. When I took the picture on my laptop it was nice and bright, but for some reason the end result was dark. The rotors are in the central upper right, where the shadow is.

What would be cool is if you smack it with the crowbar and the rotors start to spin. Don't try it unless you save though! Otherwise you'll damage the art.

If you go hit another wall a whole bunch, the damage marks should disappear. In Half Life, the default limit of decals was 200 I think. It might be a little more in this one.

No it's different with half life. Print Scrn is a system command. You want to use the Half Life command which I think defaults to F5. It will automatically save the snapshot as a file so you take unlimited pictures while you're playing. Just look at the keyboard options in half life.

Just grab your digital camera and take a picture of your monitor! I've seen too many people do this...
