Car Design Clay Modeling RX-8

On the IGN website, their is an article about Car Styling and Clay Modeling. It's pretty neat, and you'll find they are modeling your beloved RX-8.

I wonder if they could do that with chocolate; I can just see the display now, at the Autoshow at Hershey, Pennsylvania. Hmmm. The New RX-8... it's delicious!

I'm sure you've all noticed that the final picture is certainly not the same clay model sprayed-up... looks like an early 8 proto to me

I thought so too. I think that is what they meant by "final, final finished product."

it would look much better if the roof wasn't so indept with the hood..could lose about 5 inches or so....

Are you sure it's not? When they paint the clay model, it looks real. Except, of course, that you can't see through the windows.
