Drivers side rear door. The material is a lot different. It's not as soft as current and has a lot deeper texture to it.

Sorry for the crappy images. My camera couldn't decide between flash and no flash. If I'd have known I would have taken new pics. I may return tomorrow and take some more.

It had a screen on the radiator. I don't know if this is going to be a stock item or not.

I'm guessing this panel is covering the tow hook point.

These were not on the car at this time.
How ironic.

True. There is something seriously wrong with Mazda executives in charge of the RX-8.
Maybe they are trying to kill enthusiasm for the car.
Leave everything the same and get 275HP to 300HP out of the car and you have a hit. Make the Mazdaspeed kit standard and guys are walking around with erections.
How can you mess up something so simple?
Maybe the Ford people screwed it up, as we know they have little sense.
Wait why where you asked to remove them?
No offence to the photo's but they are just photos you yourself took and we've pretty much already seen professionaly done.
Or are they pissed I pointed out how the Base A/T has no upgraded Strutbar?

I told them they were pics that evryone has already seen. They seem to have an issue with pics on this particular car. They tell me it's suppose to be hush, hush.
I think if the car is in public view it is public domain. Kinda like the paparazzi and pics of the stars. Freedom of speech and all.
So as to not create a conflict, I did what they requested.

There are too many exciting cars coming out right now that look great and have even better performance to be waiting in the dark on a shorter rear end and plastic bumper guard.I know it isn't your policy, but still just saying...
Not having 'seen' the now infamous deleted pics, I feel perfectly qualified to comment on them vicariously of course, reading between the lines of others comments..
So here is what mazda reps REALLY said behind the scenes (or bushes as it were):
...hey!! LEDs are expensive... this ain't no luxury sports coup...
...ok...we totally wanted to remove the strut bar altogether, hell it's in the way and we didn't think anyone would notice... but as a compromise, we left the old style in on the base. I mean steel tubing costs fella...(and who can see it anyway - this car is about BLING factor!!)
...and the reason we asked you to remove the pics?? ...well, to be perfectly honest (truth alert!!) is 'cause we were thinkin of getting a focus group of prospective soccer mums/dads together to get their opinion on these things before we print the glossy 9"x14" brochure. Ya never can tell what will happen if you actually ASK your tarket pop what they want... but maybe we should hav a go at it anyway...
See..they really DO CARE

That pic would just be to much for this forum. Think of the ramifications it would have. Years of debate shot down in flames. Oh the horror.
Dave, I think we have to hold that one in for a while. But I will put it up someday. I am glad I had witness'.
