Yet another new member!!!

I traded in a 2003 Sunlight Copper Nissan Murano with all the fixin's. I was incredibly sad to see it go, but I was very happy with the trade. I had to go back to the dealer the day after the purchase and the salesman I dealt with said that he thinks that the Murano will sell that day. He already had several people looking at it.

The Mo's replacement is a 2004 Mazda RX-8with the GT package, Spare Tire Kit , and NAV.

Here's a couple quick pics I snapped yesterday...

I know...I'm obsessed. The control that this car has at speed is amazing.

One of my favorite little unknowns is the fact that my license plate has a triangle in it too...kind of carrying the rotary theme into every part of the car!!

Welcome to the cult!

Check the DIY Forum for a couple of threads on protecting your AC condensor and oil coolers. If a stone takes them out it's not covered by warranty.

Other than that, ZOOM-on!

Thank you! It's funny...when I research buying a new car, one of the requirements is a forum that is active and useful. This place fits the bill

I'm from PA myself. What sort of plate do you have on the back? The color goes good with the car.

This is true but that Mustang is kitted. I have a feeling NVMYGT will be taking care of his 8 as well. (see attachment for reference. MS front, appearance package sideskirts, strakes, and axis hiros below.. forget who's car this is but very nice indeed.)

Nice compliment to the Stang. You have both brute power and finesse now. Welcome!

The mustang is a 2002 Roush Stage II Convertible. It's a great car to drive, however it lacks the daily drivability and friendliness that the RX-8 has. The MS kit is definitely not far from my mind. That's exactly how I would like my car to look.

I'm very happy with how complimentary the plate is. it is a D.A.R.E. plate:
Drug Abuse Resistance Education

Most of the tuner cars around here have them.

JUst curious. The RX-8 hardly seems to be a functional replacement for the Murano. Did you decide you didn't need an SUV (or whatever one would call the Murano) after all? Life circumstances change?

I'm 23. The Murano was a bit overkill for what I used it for. It was a fun vehicle, but not nearly as fun as this. I was also looking for something a bit cheaper on the pocketbook.
