damn, makes my first minor door ding seem like no biggie...sometimes i think keeping my baby in the garage is the best idea. Good luck getting your car fixed...black cherry bumper must be a bitch to find for a reasonable price.

I had a lady back into me at a drive thru and rip a hole in my bumper.
Except here in Texas many believe car insurance to be optional. The lady that hit me had neither a drivers license, insurance, legitimate license plate, registration, etc.
So it could always be worse...

I was visiting my mother when she got
hit the third time and I was with her.
the 1st time was by some illegals from Honduras in the city once messing up the whole drivers side they jump out of the van and run away (in the city) but leave their passports
The second a lady from out of state who thought it wasn't her fault cuz she didn't see her in front of her at a stop sign
third we were sitting waiting to turn into her neighborhood and a drunk driver comes around the corner doin 65 and rear ends us car flips ends up on it's side in the ditch totaled ....
but hey things do come in threes so I hope it's the end of it

well, he said it to the cops, the cops even question him "why did you even back up? You're not suppose to backup there.", he was speechless.
So I guess there is no way he would tell Geico something different.
I dont know, he was with his grand kids. that guy is like 50 yrs old. maybe too happy for a family night, didnt pay enough attention to someone behind his car.
he was lucky he actually hit a car, not a person. cuz if he back into a person its pretty much game over for him.
Mazda never made any Mazdaspeed Front Bumper in Black Cherry, all I can do is get the primer, then have the bodyshop do the painting.
Thats what my gf is saying, she is telling me if I love Rotary that much, I should just sell this car and get a newer model instead ...

Adjuster works differently ?
Last time when my rear got pwned (just 2-3 weeks ago), the adjuster said I just need to bring the invoice in and he will add it to the repair estimate then Geico will try to go after the other party, worst case scenario is I have to pay my deductible.
But this time, same place, different adjuster, he is probably a part time cuz the whole office is empty except him, he doesnt know what to do with aftermarket front, need to call up, not even sure if he did, I waited almost an hour there, then he come back and like oh Geico will only pay for stock parts right now, I would have to get the bill to the other guy's insurance to try to get it back, in the other words, I have to pay my deductible plus whatever the extra cost going to be for now. Thats utter bs to me.
Failed.
im seriously considering a switch to Progressive, Progressive doesnt have this aftermarket bullshit, and I dont have to drive-in to get an estimate, they will drive to my house. I can even add aftermarket parts to my policy from start. and both cost about the same.(progrssive might cost a little more, not by much)

yeah the aftermarket stuff is bs wtf so you cant mod a car now what the hell ... i have farmers and theyre not that expensive (im 21) and all i need to do is declare with invoice and pics any mods to the car (stereo exhaust intake springs etc etc) and in case the car gets stolen or wrecked they pay me for the stuff too ...
