It's an old thread, but what the hell here is my 2 cents:
Me too.
I think the front, rear, roof, and maybe doors reinforcement sub frames might be a good spot to make lightweight parts. (And maybe even improve the rigidity of the uni body)
(Unless of course you completely pulled them from your racing cars.)
I guess this first question is how heavy are these parts and what are they made out of? I'm guess steel but they [i]could[/]i be aluminum(In which case getting any weight savings would be damn tough)
