I got snow tires from a member on this board. We should be getting some snow on sunday so hope i get a chance to test them out. I want to look for an empty parking lot and test this car.

 

I've been using all season tires for a couple of winter with driving skills and talent..lol...and i made it to the finish line(home)..

One day, with no reason I've tried winter tire and drive it in snow storm. When I get home, i get the hammer and bang my head.."why i didn't get one before'..

And oh, not all winter tire are made equal, so SEARCH is a good friend..

OP, the title should be WORST TIRE FOR WINTER...

 

Like i said, you shouldnt be driving anyway. But some people push their luck. And wouldnt you rather be stuck in your driveway than somewhere (ANYWHERE) other than your home haha

 

I've found a cheap *** beater car is cheaper than winter tires for this....rwd in snow just sucks...that's why i'm trying to buy something AWD (wink wink sti wink)

 

I hear ya, i was going to buy a beater with brand new winter tires for a thousand bucks... but shittt, i spent so much time saving money for my 8 i wanna drive it. Its only money in the end, and when this one goes, i'll just get a new vehicle!

My buddy has an STI and it is probably the most fun winter car around here..not to mention fast as hell..

 

I use my 3000GT most of the time when it snows. Good thing the dealer would only give me like $1000 for it so I had a reason to keep it.
