ok guys today after about a month i insured my car to go enjoy it

first time i turned it on let it warm up for about 5 min and then slowly drove it so it became warm came back home and got out of my car and it smelled like some thing was burned or something like wire burning smell what could that be plz help plz

i need the car tomorrow plz any one address the same issue?

what do you mean not enough info i took the car out for 3 drives and every time the same smell would come from the front passenger side plz help.

2004 31k miles manual and i am from canada.

timing is everything- look under at the mufflers and see if you picked up a plastic bag

yeah there are quite a few ppl who have picked up plastic bags and it smells for weeks from what i hear.....did you look under the hood to make sure there were no wires that were burning?

 

Cat converter? Check for leaks. My trans output seal leaks onto my midpipe and thats a rancid scent.

 

if there were really wires burning you'd get a cel of some kind
