What's up with the people saying you can't have a bike rack on a 8?
Anyway...
I think the roof would probably be the best place for the bikes but I probably would not want a bike inside my car. When I had my old Probe GT...sure, why not...but not in my 8.

I have always preferred to carry my bicycle(s) inside the trunk of my cars. With the bike on the roof, you can blow the grease out of the headset at prolonged freeway speeds. That, plus bugs, road grime, rain. Yuck.
However, I use my Accord (not the RX8) to transport my bikes. If the RX8 was my only car, I would have to decide what my priorities where. Probably carry the bike on the back with a rack.

The only reason I want a trailer is so I can go to AutoX events on streets, change to R Compounds at the event. Little trailers let you bring 4 wheel/tires, hydraulic jack and any other tools you might need.
