Why is this taking sooo long

So just want to first say this forum has been super helpful and funny lol. As some of you know I just got my rx8, had it for 2 weeks then problems started happening so I brought it in because it was on warranty. The problems are as listed:

Clunking noise in brakes: Fixed was something wrong with the caliper

Front parking light was broked: Fixed

Heat was not working: Fixed

Power steering kept turning off randomly: Still awaiting power steering rack/mount

It has been almost a month and they just keep saying the part is on backorder. How can a company as big as Mazda not be able to make a part for a month? My car is an 04 MT with 65k miles on it. I miss it terribly and am getting very frustrated. Just made my first car payment two days ago for a car I dont have.

Any insight would be most pleasing to help my sanity lol

Having babies takes time. No no That's not what we were talking about.

The car has been sitting at the dealership for a month? Call the loan company and tell them that the car you just bought is waiting on the dealership you bought it from for parts and it's taken a month and nothing yet. You can't even drive the car. You should not have to pay for a car you can't drive.
I read something somewhere about a clause about service extended down time and payments during that time.

Do a search on the power steering problem..it is Likely NOT the rack

The most common issue is the CAN wiring between the rack and the connector at the radiator fan area..it is a well known problem...

Yeah I had the same problem. It was just something wrong with the caliper. I already paid for one month tho. Think they would refund the amount?
