Maybe the same people took this person's wheels too, since you are both in Queens. Thought it was interesting that both had stock rims.

Got to remember stock wheels are not like stock wheels from the '80's and '90's. Stock wheels are about the size(width and height) of after market wheels and some look absolutely gorgeous, look at the new '05 and up G35 rims. 19"s ,8" wide, semi- deep dish look. They look good as any other aftermarket wheel, which makes them appealing to thieves.
Hell if some people are bold enough to steal hub caps, you can bet they will go after your stock wheels.

just curious... do u have the oem alarm that came with the 8, along w/ the shock sensor upgrade? i'm wondering if this might've alerted u to the vandals....

You guys would be surprised whose putting RX-8 rims on their cars: So far I've seen MPV's and Ford Probes with them... I'm sure there's many others.

so i finally recieved my insurance check today, and my car is in my local body shop, ill be without my baby for about 2 weeks or so until the rims i ordered come in , and the body work to both rocker panels is done, also to brice, one of my buddys pointed out that same forum to me also, and through some research from people on their and hear say, i have a acouple of scumbag kids not that far away from where i live that i might pay a visit too, in new york no one knows how to keep quiet about anything here....
p.s. i ordered 19" hp racing evo wheels with a 2 inch lip in front and a 3 inch lip in the back with the inside of the rim painted by my bodyshop to match the color of the car (pearl white), i know that some people on this forum may not agree with this decision that ive made on these rims but i think they might sit well on the car (thanx for ur suggestions though guys)

igot a estimate of 3982 , after the 500 deductible is taken out im looking at 3482, the rims and the body work ran me up to about 2800, so i got alittle left over for something, dont know what to get , but im leanin over to strakes, and a AEM cold air intake, i dunno.........
