Just got home from work. Monday mail has now come and gone with no sign of any letter. I will call my dealership tomorrow and let them handle it *Sigh*. Is anyone else still waiting for a letter or am I the only one?

Form?
I've been doing major house cleanup for the past week or so, and I seem to be missing my form to send into Mazda for my free service and money ... Can someone please scan the form and put it up here (or PM me), or if this has already been done, please give me the link. I'm looking for the form, not the letter, which I have just fine (I cleverly kept the form somewhere safe while I carried the letter to show to all my friends...)

The folks at the 800 # have been real helpful to me. Just give them a jingle. They'll send out a whole new package to you. Just give them your VIN# to so they make sure you qualify. You'll get the papers about a week later.

Very Concerned
VERY CONCERNED:
Sept. 10th, and still no letter has arrived. I spoke to Clarita at Mazda and she assured me it was coming. I am afraid ithat the time line in the letter won't allow all of us to meet the dead line. Are we being ripped off??? Yes, I agree with a previous poster, it might be time to involve the news media or even a lawyer.

Cool your jets, dude!
They have your VIN number that shows you received the car before the cutoff date to qualify for the deal (if that was the case for you). When I took delivery on August 26th, they already had a letter that asked if I wanted the free service and $500 debit card, and I checked the box that said YES.
I think that you expecting to get your letter a week or two after the announcement is a little extreme. As long as you placed your order/took delivery of the car on or before August 26th, you're fine.
PATIENCE!

I have called at least 5 times and left two seperate messages
on different days. She has not called me back yet.
As far as the letters, I will scan all of mine in for you. I think you need to call and have your vin # on record for the buy back. At least that is how I understand the letter.

These are all the letters I have received from Mazda.
letters from mazda
The first two should have gone to everybody. The third is because
I called the 800 number requesting to do the buy back program.

Car was built on 6/27, delivered to me on 8/27, and I received the offer letter today. I had asked my salesperson about the letter yesterday and she said she remembers the sales manager calling in the VIN numbers of cars ordered/sold before 8/26, but couldn't remember the exact date. For those who may not have gotten the letter, the problem nay lie with you dealer???
BTW, I'm keeping mine!

Racer: thanks for posting the return letter. I haven't decided what to do, but was wondering what they sent if I called the 800# about the return.
Oh, BTW, I did get the letter. Purchased 7/27, letter post-marked 8/25.

( 150 minutes never got through, several other
times gave up after 10 minutes). When I got
through and spoke to somebody they took
my vin # and then sent the third letter.
third letter - click here
I am screwed though. We paid with cash. I am waiting for dmv to send me the title. There is
a good chance that I will not get the title until
after Oct 1. Mazda has not return my calls.

I didn't receive the letter yet and I'm going out of the country for the remaining of the month. I got really worried when I saw in the letter (someone post it in this forum) that the timeline for answering the letter is Oct-1st.
I'm travelling tomorrow, so, yesterday I got really stressed out and called the 1-800 number in the letter. After some frustrated trials (nobody answered) I left my work phone number and rested my case for the day.
This morning I received a call back from someone from Mazda - a very polite guy, btw - which asked for my vin number and said he was going to see what was going on.
So, here's the important point for you guys: to be elegible for the deal, you have to have bought the car before Aug-26th. I did buy it on Aug-7th, but the dealership didn't report that until sept-2nd!!!!!!! I don't know why they wouldn't do that in the correct time (mess up? balancing monthly sales? I don't know!), but the fact is that they didn't!!
I faxed the guy my sales papers and he was able to escalate the problem there in Mazda and, to make a long story short, I was added to the elegible list and was able to apply for the deal.
Lucky me!
In my case (which is slightly more special, due to the fact that I'll be out for some time), I opted right there, by the phone, but I'll still need to send the letter, when I receive it, even if after Oct-1st.
If you are lazy to read all the story above, the one thing you have to get from my experience is: if you didn't receive the letter yet and did buy your car before Oct-26th, call the Mazda number (1-800-662-6779). DON'T wait someone to pick up! Simply leave your name, phone *AND* VIN number. Ask for the status of your letter.
If they are as responsive with you as they were with me, they will get back to you pretty soon with some answers.
If you want to give it some more days just in case, it's your call. I didn't have this choice.
I hope you all get your letter (and deals) in time!!!

I received the letter but if you want the buyback you have to call them anyway. They should be able to fax the letter since the person I contacted just faxed me the buyback letter. Also, somebody on this board scanned all the letters. Just print his out and decide on what you want to do and turn them in. I think the only problem for people choosing the buyback is \getting the "Title" on time which some may not recieve by the cut-off date.

This is not the case as far as I'm concerned. I ordered in April and purchase the car the day it arrived at the dealer, August 27th, and I have my letter with the option to return the car. But, I'm keeping mine!!!

Well, on Tues. I called my dealer and they gave me the Mazda customer service # 1 800 222 5500 (don't think if this is the same number found in the letter). Turns out they did not have my APT NUMBER on file. Maybe this was the reason for the delay in receiving the letter. The gal I spoke with added the apt number and sent a request to resend the letter....we'll just have to wait and see. If all else fail I'll just ask them to fax it.
BTW....you will get extreme tired head from the continuous repetition of the ZOOM ZOOM song while on hold. (I held for about 15 minutes).

RECEIVED ACTUAL REPURCHASE AGREEMENT
Today via email. I'll try to post later, however, be advised (and this is a good thing) the repurchase IS FOR THE FULL AMOUNT INCLUDING THE AMOUNT PAID OVER MSRP IN MY CASE.
Worry not, folks. If you are opting for the repurchase your needs will be taken care of in a timely manner. If concerned, just keep calling Emma at ISG (Impartial Services Group)

They are saying you can get your $1000 back or you can buy the car with the $500 & free maint.
You want an option to accept the car in order to have Mazda buy it back.
I must be missing your motive. Why do you want to do that?

I had an order in that was in time to get the letter. My dealer says that he turned in my address and that they even called back to verify the address to send the letter to.
Unfortunately, I still have yet to recieve the letter. I called him back and he said he doesn't know and that I might not get the letter until I take delivery of the car. I tried calling the 800 number but sat on hold for 3 hours and got a bit bored.
Does anyone know if I won't recieve the letter until shortly before I take delivery of the car? or should I have the letter in hand and need to call my dealer back? I'm just scared I will miss the oct 1 deadline everyone talks about.
thanks
