Where do you get your oil?

As we all know the RX-8 drinks oil. I'm tired of stopping to pick up a quart. I started buying the 5 quart jug at Wal Mart. I much prefer the 1 quart bottle. Anyone have a suggestion on where I can buy cases at reasonable prices? I'm just wondering what everyone else does.

Mine sips oil, rather sparingly. At most a quart between changes. Not enough to worry about. I'm considering taking the spare bottle out of the trunk, since I doubt I'll ever really need to top off away from my garage.

Nearest discount parts place is Advance Auto Parts. With three cars in the family, I just keep an eye on their flyer and pick up a case of whatever I'm low on when it's on sale.

+1

I keep a kit with two small oil bottles and paper towel in the pass through but the only time I use it is on a road trip. Maybe it's a security blanket...

Actually, that's not true—I would say it sips oil. Mine needs maybe 1/2 quart—if that much—between oil changes.

its never a bad idea to keep oil in the car anyways, you never know.

i took a milk crate and used the straps that held in my inflation kit to strap thru the grates of the crate to keep it in place... i put all my spare junk and oil in the crate so its not flying around the trunk.

i buy the 5 qt jugs at wal-mart too (Motorcraft 5w20)

and i think keeping a qt of oil in the trunk is silly unless you're going on a cross country trip or something.

that's why you check the oil at home

you do realize as long as the oil level is between the low and high line on the dipstick, the car is safe to drive right

The place that changes my oil, gives me free fluid fill ups anytime I need them, and they're on my way to school every day, so if Im low, I get mine filled up there for free.
