Thanks everyone! Good luck with your car, ZoomZoomH! I'll keep checking in to find out who ends up with the highest mileage 8. :D

so I went and test drove both a '10 Mazda3s hatch and a '09 Mazda6i SV this morning. eager to move cars, the dealer offered $8500 trade-in on my '04 RX-8 with 95,600 miles on the clock, but I walked on the deal because, frankly, neither brand new car can even GET CLOSE to the driving feel of a 5 year old car with 95k miles.

so yeah, I think I'm keeping my car for a while, i'm actually gonna spend some $$ to tune up the old girl now <3

but do have to say Mazda did a really good job with the gearbox for the 2.5L MZR fwd drivetrain, that impressed me more than anything else on those 2 cars.
