Enkei RPF1 18x9.5" wheels on all 4 corners wrapped in Kumho V710 rubber..... yeah. hands down best mod i did!

this was my pick out of the other parts on my car:
Koni Yellow shocks
Sprint spring - oh thats a sexy drop!
Racing beat sway bars
K&N Typhoon intake - I LOVED that sound. best part, its nly there when your really on it.
drilled and slotted rotors
short shifter
MazdaSpeed wing

these 3 i also did to my car, and they are on my list, but the gain was little, so they are lower on my list.
UR pulleys
ACT flywheel
RB flash

I liked every mod I did.... honestly, I didnt regret any of them. but the tires and wheels hands down were the best. that a lot of sticky rubber onthe ground.

The AFE short shifter makes the transmission work like it was always supposed to. A fantastic mod no doubt. But I think my personal favorite is my tactical assault stereo.

Tires are also an underrated mod. Don't cheap out on tires. All the suspension mods in the world wont do any good if you have crappy tires. No, they aren't showy, yes they're stupid expensive, but the difference between good sticky tires and the stockers are night and day. I do things on my RT-615's that would have me going around corners trunk first on my stock tires.

I love my clutch kit from BHR:
Stage 1 SPEC clutch and 8.98lbs flywheel with ACT counter weight. Made a huge difference in the throttle response and acceleration.

After that I would have to say it would be the Cobb AP and the AFE SS

I like the short shifter the best out of the mods I have done. Seems to cure that reverse issue I used to have, no longer have to double clutch alot.

easy way to aviod that when going into reverse. just apply pressure the whole time on the shifter towards reverse and right before the clutch engages you will feel the shifter slip into reverse.

afe ss

after that,
rims&tires
voodoo shift ****
eyelids

there are plenty of cheap nice things you can do too.

like the rear diffuser DIY mod. i really like that, also a rear rotary accent if you dont have one.
interior LED'S

custom plate is cool too.

hmm. if you get rims tho, you HAVE to lower your ride. stock fender gap is not a pretty sight

It uses the stock **** **** so it will feel the same in your hand and will look the same

AFE SS then my Mazsport Dual Resonated Midpipe is a very close second because it makes my car faster and the sound quality is very high end, not obnoxious.

Anyone have a picture of a short shifter compared to a stock shifter?
