Learn to search.

 

Intakes as with other bolt on mods provide little gain on this car. if you don't have them yet your money would be better spent on sway bars. But If it is an Intake you want the Racing Beat has a clean OEM look. The AEM (aka Mazdaspeed) also seems to be popular.

seriously - nothing wrong with the stock setup - just get the RB duct and a K&N drop in

 

You could spend $300+ on an intake that does nothing, or put the money toward a set of sway bars or a nitrous setup or lighter wheels or just about anything that will actually do something.

 

k&n, hks, mazdaspeed/aem all good choices.. oh don't forget about racing beat.

i don't mind answering your question nither. i do ask lots of questions because i can't find anyting when i search.
i have mazdaspeed cold air intake, and its good. i've had it for a week now and i happy with it. i didn't notice any gain of HP or in millage. however, i'm happy with the sound and i'm happy that i got it.

Intake is a cosmetic mod (at most get the K&N drop in). Put the extra $ into Short Shifter or suspension (springs)

 

^Yup. Or run the K&N type 2 typhoon with the RB duct. My friend has that set up. Love it!
