Chris,
My first name is Mark, and Marko is my nickname. No identity theft :D
Where did you come up with April for the arrival of 05s?

poorman,
I'll most likely HAVE to wait until the 06 model year to purchase due to personal reasons unfortunately. I'd rather get an 06 by then if it's Sept or early October when they arrive. Yes the wait is killer, but I'm keeping happy until then.

Mid October 2004

Toronto area.

Took delivery of my 2005 mid October. Six weeks on summer tires, the past four months on 17" winters. It will be a blast putting the 18" performance wheels back on.

With there still being a lot of 04s still on lots and 05s not exactly flying off the lots I wouldn't expect to see 06s at the same time this year. Also not sure what the status of production is after the fire since I haven't been following that story closely, but maybe someone else has some info.

Good points, but maybe the Spring and Summer market will clean up the inventory. If current 05 production slowed down from the fire, then it will possibly balance it out. After talking to one dealer this month, his ordered cars are delayed due to the fire. He had ZERO new RX8 inventory, but this is a small to medium sized store. We'll see....

Thanks for the reply Moyenne, I'm sure your car will feel much better too after the snows come off :p
