If it is an 04 key which is the key by itself then it will cost you around $30 for just the key then if you need the dealership to program it then it cost me $40 bucks more because I only had one key at the time, if you have 2 working keys you can program it yourself. If you have the 05 keys then I am not sure how much, just know it is expensive.

It costs an arm and a leg and i think my dealer has the rights to my first born son.....ok ok, so maybe it isnt that bad but i think i got hosed. I payed 196.00 for an 04 key and remote a few months ago. I lost one of mine and was told an 05 wouldnt work without two keys to program the third. The key and remote were ~ 140.00 and the remaining 56.00 was the labor to program it. The dealer told me that once they were done, the old key wouldnt work if it was ever found, and only the new key, and the one i provided them with would work moving forward. The worst part was a frackin week later my friend found my key that was missing for 6 months tucked down into the emergency brake slot of his saturn. And guess what....it still works perfectly. If i would have only put it off for another two weeks....

Hope it turns out better for you than it did for me.

If I needed another 04 key I could definitely get one for free from my salesman.

Here is another alternative. It could be a good deal, unless everyone bids.

Or you could go to your local dealership and get on a salesman's good side by hooking him up with [product/service/whatever] and from that point on he'll get you whatever you need (like I did). Also bring food whenever you get your car serviced for the service reps and maybe even the guys sitting behind the counter at the parts department. Every little bit helps

I got the 2005 keyfob (+key cut) on ebay for $125 shipped. The first auction the guy did was $100. I will find his seller id maybe he got more.
